For me, photography is a mindful practice—an invitation to pause, notice, and connect. In my fine art work, I engage deeply with the present moment, allowing perception to guide me rather than seeking the perfect shot. Through this approach, I explore our relationship with the land, the quiet poetry of everyday life, and our shared longing for connection and meaning.

Mindful photography is not just about what we see, but how we see. It's a contemplative way of being with the world—of slowing down enough to experience flashes of perception, where mind, body, and eye synchronize. Each image becomes a trace of presence, a visual expression of the calm and clarity that arises from paying full attention.

This practice has been a path of healing and self-discovery for me. It is both an inner journey and an outer exploration—a form of visual journaling where the camera becomes a tool for reflection, for noticing beauty in the overlooked, and for honoring the sacred in the everyday. Through the act of creating, I find solace, insight, and a renewed sense of wonder.

Through my photographic work and in my teaching, I aim to share this transformative experience with others, inviting them to join me on a journey of self-exploration and introspection. Click on the links below to view my recent bodies of fine art photography work.
